Quick Start Guide

Click the Extension Icon

Look for the SmartText icon in your Chrome toolbar (top-right corner). Click it to open the popup.

Create Your First Shortcut

Type a short abbreviation like PFA in the "Shortcut" field, then enter the full text in "Expanded Text" field.

Click "Add Shortcut"

Hit the blue button. Your shortcut is now saved and ready!

Start Typing Anywhere

Go to any website, type your shortcut + space or tab, and watch it expand!

How to Use
Up and running in 60 seconds

Click the SmartText icon
Click the SmartText icon in your Chrome toolbar to open the popup. Pin it for quick access by right-clicking the icon → Pin to toolbar.

Create a shortcut
Enter a short key (like PFA) and the full text you want it to expand to. Hit Add Shortcut. That's it.
PFA → "Hi, please find the attachment."

Type anywhere and expand
Go to any website — Gmail, Slack, Notion, wherever. Type your shortcut key, then press Space or Tab. SmartText replaces it with the full text instantly.

Manage & organise
Edit or delete shortcuts anytime from the popup. Use the search bar to find shortcuts quickly. Toggle SmartText on/off with the switch in the popup header.
